Camille Russell is a founding partner of the law firm of SHARIFOV & RUSSELL, LLP.   In 2002, Ms. Russell worked as an Assistant District Attorney both under the Honorable Denis Dillon, former District Attorney and the Honorable Kathleen Rice, the current District Attorney for Nassau County.  During her years of service as an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Russell has acquired constructive insight into the New York criminal justice system. She is a trial lawyer with years of courtroom experience which she has gained both as a prosecutor and defense attorney. As an active trial lawyer Ms. Russell prosecuted and defends serious criminal cases ranging from simple larceny to murder, both in state and federal courts. Her experience empowers her to handle tough cases with a personal touch, providing one-on-one consultation, advising each client of their rights and the direction they should take given the circumstances of their case.

Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Russell interned for two Federal judges- one in the Southern District and the other in the Eastern District of New York, giving her vast insight into the often daunting world of federal litigation
