Kerryann Haase is Managing Partner of the Chicago office and a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Ms. Haase's practice primarily involves counseling and defending employers engaged in litigating employment disputes in all aspects of federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies. She has substantial experience with discrimination and termination claims, as well as non-compete agreements. Ms. Haase frequently counsels clients on employment issues related to, wrongful termination, hiring, evaluation and discipline of employees, non-competes, wage claims, employee handbooks, privacy, retention of employees, affirmative action, sexual harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Title VII. She has experience with the NLRB, arbitrations and mediations. Ms. Haase serves as a trusted advisor to her clients, offering proactive, strategic employment counsel.
Ms. Haase regularly provides counsel on a broad spectrum of issues to a number of financial institutions, manufacturing and logistics companies, the health care industry, utilities, as well as colleges and universities. Ms. Haase frequently conducts employment practices assessments to assist employers with structuring effective personnel policies and practices. The employment practices audits are structured to reduce clients' employment litigation and increase workplace management and productivity.
