Frank Roza primarily focuses on representing financial institutions in commercial loan workouts, and litigation matters involving lender liability claims, fraudulent conveyances, commercial loan foreclosures, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Frank also has extensive experience in counseling, negotiating, documenting and closing all types of financial and business transactions.
Before joining the Firm, Frank was Regional General Counsel for Union Planters Bank, N.A. where he managed all of the bank's litigation in Florida, Texas and Louisiana. He also had primary oversight of all third party vendor contracts, and was directly involved with the negotiations and documenting of such contracts.
Frank was born in South Miami on November 10, 1965. He graduated from Florida International University in 1987 with a degree in Finance and International Business. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1990 from the University of Florida. Frank is admitted to practice law in Florida and he has bench and jury trial experience in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Miami, and the state courts.
Frank is a member of several state and national professional associations, including the Association of Corporate Counsel (Litigation Committee member), American Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Florida International Banking Association. He is also actively involved with various community service organizations including the Ed Fund (Director and Treasurer 2001-2002), National Conference on Community and Justice (Fundraising Committee), Leadership Miami graduate (2005), Hands on Miami, and the United Way.
