With 10 years of adjudication experience as a Water Master with the Montana Water Court, the primary focuses of Ms. Rowland's practice of law are mediation and litigation of water right matters before the Montana Water Court and Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, along with water right distribution controversies and ditch disputes before district courts. Ms. Rowland utilizes her agricultural background and water right expertise to assist clients with various farm and ranch issues, including real estate transactions, access and easement issues, and ranch business matters. Ms. Rowland's clients include the Southwestern Montana Stockman's Association, the Montana Grass Conservation Commission, irrigation districts, and numerous land owners and water users throughout Montana.
Ms. Rowland was born in Montana and raised in Wyoming. She has managed and practiced in the firm’s Dillon office since 1998. She enjoys landscaping, horses, spending time outdoors, and is rarely seen without her Australian Shepherd canines by her side.
