Milt is a longtime trial lawyer and law professor whose practice focuses on civil litigation, including employment discrimination and wrongful termination law, general municipal law, complex litigation, construction, tort and land title cases, landlord-tenant cases and dispute resolution and litigation for cities, counties, and special purpose districts. He has taught courses in administrative law, local government law, business law and related subjects since 1987, including landlord-tenant, real estate law, insurance law and the law of sales and leases of goods. He was litigation counsel for the City of Spokane from 1993-2007, and in that capacity handled many administrative and litigation matters, including employment, personal injury, malpractice and civil rights litigation. He lectures widely on litigation issues facing agencies.
