Jason Rossiter joined Zashin & Rich in 2007. Jason has extensive experience representing employers in litigating and arbitrating workplace disputes in Ohio, California and throughout the country. Among the many types of disputes that Jason regularly handles are discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; minimum wage, overtime, meal and rest break, and other wage and hour claims; employee benefits disputes; and restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation. He has extensive experience in class and collective action litigation. Jason also counsels clients on compliance with a wide range of state and federal employment laws and regulations; prepares and updates employment policies, handbooks and contracts; and provides advice regarding employee discipline and termination. Law and Politics and Cincinnati magazines named Jason an "Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star" in Labor and Employment Law in 2006 and 2007.

Jason earned his B.A. from Central Washington University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and earned hi J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Order of the Coif. During law school, Jason was also a member of the Case Western Reserve Law Review.

Jason is admitted to practice law in state courts throughout both Ohio, Pennsylvania, and California. Jason is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Jason is a member of the American Bar Association, including its Labor and Employment Section. Jason is also a member of the Cleveland Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the State Bar of California.
