Samantha Guard, an Arkansas native, came to New Orleans in 2003 to attend Newcomb College at Tulane University. After graduating from Tulane in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology, along with a minor in Art History , she returned to Little Rock, Arkansas to work as a legal assistant at Wilson & Associates, PLLC. As a legal assistant at Wilson & Associates, PLLC, Samantha learned the inner workings of a law firm, as well as how to work as part of a team and get the job done right. After two years as a legal assistant, Samantha was admitted to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2008. While attending Loyola, Samantha received a rigorous legal education in family law, successions, property law, business organization and alternative dispute resolution. During her time at Loyola, Samantha volunteered as a law clerk at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office and clerked at Brown Sims, P.C. In her final year at Loyola, Samantha participated as a Rule XX Student Attorney in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice as well as assisted Professor Bobby Marzine Harges in the research and editing of the Louisiana Alternative Dispute Resolution Handbook and the Louisiana Evidence Handbook 2011. In 2011 Samantha graduated from Loyola with a Juris Doctor in Civil Law, along with certificates in International Law and Common Law. Samantha was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2011. Samantha is a compassionate and dedicated attorney, who is committed to serving the Greater New Orleans community through the practice of law.
