Ms. Grover specializes in the defense of claim arising under the Defense Base Act, the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act. Ms. Grover believes that her ability to find creative solutions to complex issues serves as one of the greatest services she can offer her clients.
Ms. Grover graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of St. Thomas in 2006. Ms. Grover was also recognized as the Outstanding Graduate in Political Science for her graduating class. She graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2009 from South Texas College of Law where she served as a Langdell Scholar for Civil Procedure and Co-Editor in Chief of the Construction Law Journal. Ms. Grover was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and Howard Warren Scholarship upon her admittance to South Texas College of Law in 2006.
Ms. Grover’s prior experience includes two internships at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. During her internship with the Honorable Judge David Hittner, Ms. Grover focused on drafting final orders and orally presenting them for approval. She also had the opportunity to engage in numerous discussions regarding evidentiary rulings and trial tactics with Judge Hittner. While interning with Magistrate Judge Calvin Botley, Ms. Grover primarily spent her time drafting final orders on Social Security cases.
Ms. Grover was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2009. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and Ballet Barre – Young Professionals for Houston Ballet
