Ross, Michele L.

Cody N. Guarnieri is a member of the Criminal Defense Department in the firm's Hartford office.  Attorney Guarnieri represents adults and juveniles facing criminal prosecutions before Connecticut courts.  Additionally, Attorney Guarnieri handles pardons and workers' compensation litigation.

Prior to joining Brown, Paindiris & Scott, Attorney Guarnieri graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  In law school, Attorney Guarnieri focused his studies on criminal defense litigation in Connecticut state and federal courts.  In his final year at UConn Law, Attorney Guarnieri participated in the University of Connecticut Criminal Defense Clinic as a certified legal intern, where he represented indigent clients charged with various crimes and offenses in Connecticut Superior Courts.  Based on his work in the Criminal Defense Clinic, Attorney Guarnieri was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Attorney Guarnieri also served as the Executive Director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and was an Articles Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal.  Attorney Guarnieri holds dual bachelors’ degrees in Political Science and History & Social Sciences from Eastern Connecticut State University.
