Ms. Rosell is an associate in the environmental department. She represents clients in negotiating administrative claims with federal and state environmental agencies, advises clients in initiating and maintaining environmental regulatory compliance programs, and assists in environmental and toxic tort litigation. Ms. Rosell advises clients on compliance and permitting under federal environmental laws and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (Superfund), and the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA). She represents clients in litigating complex toxic tort claims, including class actions, at a federal and state level, contribution claims under CERCLA and state counterparts, and general tort and business claims. Her experience in Superfund issues includes contribution, indemnity, successor liability, and allocation. Ms. Rosell also regularly assists clients with environmental due diligence on real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Her work includes review of environmental assessments, evaluation of potential environmental liabilities, and availability of landowner liability defenses.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rosell served as law clerk for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Mexico. She is proficient in Spanish.
