Rosenbaum was admitted to the Florida State Bar in 1977 and is licensed to practice in U.S. District Courts in both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Dade County Bar Association; The Florida Bar; National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys; Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Anti Defamation League (Regional Board Member).

As a lawyer for the State Attorney's Office, Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Dade County, Mr. Rosenbaum worked for former United States Attorney General Janet Reno and headed the Narcotics Division from 1983 to 1987. From 1987 to 1991 Mr. Rosenbaum prosecuted Capital and high profile cases as a member of the Major Crimes Unit.
