Attorney John L. Roncone, III. (Jay), began his practice of law in 1991 after graduating from Gettysburg College (PA) and the New England School of Law (Boston, MA). He has practiced primarily in the areas of: personal injury (auto accidents, dog bites, slip and fall), criminal defense (assault, DWI/OUI, drug charges, etc.), litigation, real estate and family law (divorce, child support, restraining orders, adoption, etc.). He has extensive experience representing clients in the various District Courts, Probate and Family Courts, Superior Courts, and Federal Courts within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has also successfully represented parties in numerous arbitration and mediation hearings, saving clients' thousands of dollars in litigation expenses.
Attorney Roncone has handled many complex litigation matters both for plaintiffs and defendants, including wrongful death claims, slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, serious personal injury claims, multi-million dollar condominium litigation, divorce, paternity and child custody disputes. At least six of his clients' cases have been published as "notable verdicts/settlements" within the Commonwealth. He has also defended hundreds of juvenile and adult defendants accused of various misdemeanor and felony offenses from arraignment thru jury trials.
An active member of most state bar association and trial lawyers groups, Attorney Roncone served as the Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Leominster, Massachusetts from January of 2000 thru January of 2004. He currently serves as a Special Prosecutor for the Worcester County District Attorney's Office and was appointed a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Attorney Roncone has advised and negotiated various artist/talent agreements for singers, writers, and producers in various television and theatrical matters.
