Roger joined the firm in October 2001, having been a founding shareholder of Greenberg, Peden P.C. (formerly Richie & Greenberg, P.C.) in Houston, Texas. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas.
In the past decades, Roger has tried civil cases and argued civil appeals, in Texas state courts and multiple federal courts in Texas and other states, including the Supreme Court of the United States. Roger has served as trial counsel in arbitrations and as a sole arbitrator and panel chair deciding arbitral issues. Areas of practice have included Securities and Securities Class Actions, Banking and Lender Liability, Financial and Accounting, Trade Secrets and Intellectual Property disputes, Real Estate and Construction among many other disciplines. Roger is admitted to practice in Texas Federal and State courts including the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the Fifth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.
Roger has been an active member of the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation, serving on numerous committees in various capacities over the years, chairing or co-chairing committees on commercial and banking litigation, financial transactions, trial practice, pretrial practice and discovery and CLE. Roger has been a member of multiple ABA Section of Litigation task forces in the past such as The Institute for Trial Practice, Jury Initiatives and Public Dialogue. Roger is regularly selected as an arbitrator qualified by the American Arbitration Association and is listed on its Panel of Arbitrators (Commercial and Consumer).
