Julie E. Green serves as Of Counsel of Todd & Weld LLP. She concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, including corporate governance matters, partnership disputes, business torts, and unfair business practices. She has represented both employers and employees in non-competition, non-solicitation and trade secrets cases. She has handled a wide range of matters in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings, including commercial and residential real estate cases, debtors' and creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters, complex federal statutory and regulatory challenges, probate matters, trademark cases, and civil rights and First Amendment claims.

Significant cases have included the successful defense of a pharmaceutical executive in a trade secrets and noncompetition dispute and successful defense of the president of a medical device manufacturer accused of corporate wrongdoing.

Julie Green has considerable experience prosecuting and defending appeals in both federal and state courts, including matters raising issues of first impression under the federal or state constitutions.

She has also engaged in significant pro bono work, including representation of criminal defendants and victims of domestic violence. In 1997 she served as a pro bono staff attorney at MFY Legal Services defending tenants in eviction proceedings.

Ms. Green was named a "Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star" by Boston Magazine in 2005.

Ms. Green joined Todd & Weld, LLP in 2002, prior to which she was an associate at Hill & Barlow in Boston from 1999 to 2002, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York from 1996 to 1999. Ms. Green graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1995, where she served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review. In 1995-1996 she served as a law clerk to the Hon. William A. Norris of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Green speaks German, French and Czech.
