Rohner, Brianne

Timothy Roehrs joined Kamer Zucker Abbott in August of 2005. Tim represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law before administrative agencies and the state and federal courts. Representing the gaming and hospitality industries, Tim has garnered extensive litigation experience in wage and hour class actions, contract claims, and discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters. He has defended employers against charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission. Tim also has experience in labor arbitrations and before the National Labor Relations Board.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Tim is a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he graduated in the top-third of his class and was on the staff of the Nevada Law Journal. Tim attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science. Prior to law school, Tim worked in the field of politics and government relations for 5 years. During this time he served as the Deputy Communications Director for a gubernatorial campaign in Nebraska before moving to Las Vegas in 1998 to work for the Government Relations Department of The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

Tim is an avid fan of Nebraska Cornhusker football and UNLV Rebel basketball. He is a tennis player who follows both sports and politics and enjoys working out and spending time with his wife, Shannon.
