Hope Gray is an associate for the firm's transactional and litigation departments. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gray worked for a private membership organization in Illinois advising over 70 non-profit housing corporations and training corporate board members on issues ranging from employee relations, corporate governance, tax exempt status, and legal compliance.

Ms. Gray has a broad range of business and legal experience in areas including labor and employment law, non-profit governance, civil rights and election law. At Chicago Public Schools, Ms. Gray worked with unions, teachers and administrators advising them of employee personnel and disciplinary policies. She has assisted with litigation on cases related to employment discrimination claims, Anti-SLAPP suits, Unruh Civil Rights Act violations and other civil matters. Ms. Gray has also been active in the Orange County political community. She was the Executive Director for a political action committee aimed at promoting excellence in education and she worked as a consultant for the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce managing voter outreach projects and local campaigns.

Ms. Gray attended Chapman University and earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and a B.A. in Leadership and Organizational Studies. Her significant community and volunteer involvements at Chapman earned her recognition as Most Inspirational Senior and the Servant Leadership award. She attended her first year of law school at Loyola Law School (Los Angeles) before transferring and earning her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.

Ms. Gray is a member of the Business and Corporate Law, Business Litigation, Labor and Employment and Real Estate Law sections of the Orange County Bar Association, the Education Law Association and the California State Bar. She is a fifth generation Californian and she currently resides in Santa Ana, California.
