Tim Roberts joined Oliver Maner LLP in 1994 and has been a Partner since 2000. Mr. Roberts is a trial attorney whose areas of practice include commercial litigation, personal injury (representing plaintiffs and defendants), legal malpractice defense, class actions, state and fiduciary litigation and creditor representation. Mr. Roberts also serves as outside counsel for some of Savannah's larger local and regional businesses. As outside counsel, Mr. Roberts provides advice and assistance with contracts, insurance coverage matters, and employment matters. Mr. Roberts is licensed to practice in all Georgia and Federal Courts.
Mr. Roberts is a Martindale Hubbell “AV” rated attorney and has been listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” in the area of commercial litigation since 2009. Mr. Roberts is a graduate of Leadership Savannah Class of 2000 and was recognized in 2005 as one of the “40 Business Leaders under 40” in the Savannah Business Report and Journal.
Mr. Roberts is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, National Association of Railroad Trial Lawyers, Savannah Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association of Justice, and the United Way of the Coastal Empire Campaign Committee.
Mr. Roberts graduated from Page High School in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1984; University of Georgia in 1988 and Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1994. Prior to law school, Mr. Roberts was employed by the United States State Department in Washington, D.C. and Bank of America in Greensboro, North Carolina. During law school, Mr. Roberts worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia.
