As a partner at Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP, Jon Gordon takes part in all aspects of patent practice for both foreign and domestic clients, including patent litigation, patent prosecution, due diligence, client counseling, and providing opinions of counsel.  He also has experience in general commercial litigation.

Within the patent area, Mr. Gordon has experience with diverse technologies, such as computer networking, electronic commerce, client-server systems, information providers, financial systems, electronic medical records, data storage, consumer electronics, and the physical infrastructure of networks.

Mr. Gordon’s practice is enhanced by his extensive experience as a software engineer involved in developing, maintaining, and extending multi-tiered intranet and Internet applications.  He has training and experience in TCP/IP networking and in administration of networked systems.  He is particularly interested in object-oriented design and architecture and is familiar with a number of development environments and languages, including Java, C, C++, JSP/Servlets, JavaScript, Perl, SQL, and .NET.

A radio hobbyist, Mr. Gordon holds an Amateur Extra class U.S. amateur radio operator license, with call sign K3QE.
