“I help people!” That’s what Tony says when someone asks him what he does for a living. Working for Bart has provided him a great opportunity to help many people across Tennessee and the Southeastern United States.
Tony grew up in East Tennessee and graduated from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a B.A. in Political Science. He was a regular on the Dean’s List, a Scholastic All-American, and was a member of the football team where he was selected to the Academic All-Conference team.
He went on attend the Nashville School of Law. He obtained his J.D. in 1999 and passed the bar exam on his first attempt that same year.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Tennessee Association for Justice (and has served on the Board of Governors for the better part of a decade now). He is also frequently sought out by members of the Tennessee Bar to answer questions involving personal injury law and trial practice. He has also been a presenter at continuing legal education classes here in Tennessee where he has instructed other lawyers on various areas of trial practice and procedure.
In 2010 he was selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer, Rising Star. In 2011 he was selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer. In 2011 he also became a member of the invitation-only organization known as The National Trial Lawyers.
