Shannan Dugan is a former Assistant District Attorney in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and has specialized primarily in criminal defense for the last 15+ years. She has handled hundreds of criminal cases, including driving under the influence, possession and sale of narcotics, theft, assault and battery, three strikes, and multi-defendant federal drug and conspiracy cases. Ms. Dugan has represented clients in state and federal courts, and throughout California, including the counties of San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Trinity and Los Angeles.
Ms. Dugan has been a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Trial Lawyer’s Association for over ten years. She has published articles on various criminal law issues and has also been a featured speaker on topics such as cross examination.
