Chad Robert's law practice primarily focuses on aviation accidents, mass torts and individuals who have been seriously injured as a result of product defects and medical negligence.
Mr. Roberts is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Aviation Law. Admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, he is AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Roberts was a partner at Holland & Knight, LLP.
Mr. Roberts earned a degree in Engineering Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a United States Naval Officer, serving aboard guided missile cruisers. His naval experience included tours of duty in the Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iraq war, supervising missile firings on the Atlantic test range, and coordinating air intercept operations throughout the Caribbean basin for U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Interdiction programs.
Following naval service, Mr. Roberts enrolled in the Florida State University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude. While there, he served as research assistant and speech writer to Dean of the Law School Talbot "Sandy" D'Alemberte, who was then President-elect of the American Bar Association. Mr. Roberts was awarded an academic scholarship sponsored by the Florida Legislature. He served on the staff of the Judiciary Committee of the Florida House of Representatives, and was Associate Editor of the Florida State University Law Review.
Mr. Roberts is active in several professional and civic organizations. His offices and memberships include: Vice President of the Board of Directors of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid; Academy of Florida Trail Lawyers; Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association and Chester Bedell Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Born in Miami, Florida, Mr. Roberts is married and has one child.
