Rebecca L. Gombos, an associate of Magnanimo & Dean, LLP, is an experienced attorney, who has successfully litigated numerous employment cases for both employers and employees, including cases involving harassment and hostile work environment (including claims based on race, gender, sex, pregnancy, mental and physical disability, age and religion), employment discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, whistleblowing, violation of the Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights A ct and/or Pregnancy Disability Leave Act, defamation, and breach of contract.

Prior to Magnanimo & Dean, LLP, Ms. Gombos worked at the firms of Appleton, Magnanimo & Dean, LLP and Appleton, Blady & Magnanimo, LLP, where her practice was devoted to representing employees and employers in employment cases. Ms. Gombos has also worked at Landegger & Baron, LLP and Goldstein, Kennedy & Petito, where her practice was solely devoted to representing and advising employers in employment law matters. Ms. Gombos has successfully litigated numerous employment cases, obtaining favorable results for her clients.

Ms. Gombos is a member of the California and Washington State Bars and is licensed to practice before the courts of California; and the U.S. District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California. Ms. Gombos is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Gombos attended Loyola Marymount University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities with an emphasis in English Literature. Ms. Gombos is a 1996 graduate of California Western School of Law.
