Christine's practice extends to all aspects of trial and appellate litigation. Her substantive experience covers a wide range of fields, including state and federal constitutional issues, labor and employment, corporate criminal investigations, and intellectual property. Her experience also includes representing local governments in class actions raising statutory, employment, and constitutional issues.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Christine clerked for the Supreme Court of Hawaii where she researched and drafted bench memoranda and orders on civil and criminal matters. She also clerked for three years in the United States District Court for the Central District of California where she gained substantial experience in matters involving copyright and trademark infringement, complex securities fraud, federal criminal procedure, civil rights, Federal Tort Claims Act, Federal False Claims Act, ERISA, and various state causes of action.
Christine is committed to public service. She currently serves as secretary of the Philippine American Bar Association of Los Angeles. She is also a reader for the UCLA College Honors Scholarship and mentor for the UCLA Alumni Association Scholar's Club.
