Jasmina Richter practices in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability defense, insurance coverage and litigation, public entity law, and construction law. As part of her professional liability practice, Jasmina defends architects, engineers, insurance agents, accountants, real estate agents, and other professionals.

As part of her insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation, Jasmina represents insurers in complex insurance coverage actions.  Jasmina has analyzed coverage under a wide variety of policies including commercial general liability, professional liability, director and officer liability, aviation liability, and garage liability.  Jasmina also represents insurers faced with Damron/Morris type agreements and the unique legal issues that arise when defending against the enforceability of those agreements.  Jasmina has successfully litigated cases involving a $1.2M Damron agreement, $3.5M Morris agreement, $7.5M Morris agreement, and $30M Damron agreement, obtaining favorable results for the insurers in each.

Jasmina received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law where she graduated with Honors in 2005. During law school, Jasmina represented a client in immigration court, was a member of the Intellectual Property Program, the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, and the Criminal Law Clinic. She published an article in Vanderbilt's Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law entitled Distinctly Deliniated Fictional Characters That Constitute The Story Being Told: Who Are They and Do They Deserve Separate Copyright Protection?
 
Jasmina was named to the 2012 Southwest Super Lawyers—Rising Stars List.  Jasmina is admitted to practice in Arizona.
