Personal Practice Philosophy
Throughout my practice as an attorney, I have had the opportunity to have much experience in several courtrooms in several states, regarding several types of law, ranging from family, criminal, nursing home abuse, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and general civil litigation. As an attorney, I see myself as having two roles: legal counselor and legal litigator. As a counselor, I help people understand their legal rights and how the legal system works. I will assist you through the process, which can often be traumatic and complex. I will help you through the complex legal system as it is unruly for those who do not practice in it every day. I will be your representative and your voice each and every step of the way. Every step of the way, I advise my clients what I am doing and why. As a practice, I offer the "Devil's Advocate" perspective as well, as it is important to know exactly what to expect in court and/or from the opposing party. I believe that candidness is crucial in an honest working relationship and will ensure that you will be as aware of everything involved in your case as I am. Each case is unique and has to be handled differently, that is the difference you get when I am your attorney.
