Attorney Juan J. Dominguez was recently nominated Attorney of the Year 2011 by the highly regarded and prestigious personal injury attorney association in California, Consumers Attorneys of California. He is a proud member of the Multi-Million Dollars Advocates Forum, and Elite Lawyers of America. Attorney Juan J. Dominguez has also been named a "Super Lawyer" four consecutive years, as published in the Los Angeles Magazine. Through aggressive representation of injured clients both in and out of court, the law offices of Juan J. Dominguez have recovered more than $200 million since 1987 in verdicts and settlements.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Dominguez worked for several years at two major Los Angeles-area trauma center hospital emergency rooms, where he gained a keen insight and compassion for the seriously injured. He has dedicated his career and life to helping those in their time of need.
Mr. Dominguez graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1984 and from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1987, opening his law firm that same year. While in law school, Mr. Dominguez had worked as an intern for both the office of the California Attorney General, Consumer Affairs Division, and for the San Francisco Superior Court Law and Motion.
Mr. Dominguez is a long-standing member of the American Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, California Consumer Attorneys Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is also a proud member of the exclusive Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Elite Lawyers of America.
Compassion for the community and philanthropy is reflected by his support and sponsorship of numerous charitable causes both domestic and abroad, including the Juan J. Dominguez Scholarship Fund, A Place Called Home in south-central Los Angeles, Children International, Children's Hospital Los Angeles blood drive, Los Angeles Weingart Center Association for the Homeless, UNICEF, City of Hope, Hollenbeck Youth Center in East Los Angeles, and two orphanages for abandoned or abused children (Little Angels and Infants' Place) in Tijuana, Mexico, to name a few.
Mr. Dominguez has also frequently appeared on both television and radio, informing the public on the law and their rights.
Attorney Juan Dominguez is happily married to his wife Scarleth, with whom he has a son. In his spare time, Mr. Dominguez enjoys family outings, soccer, basketball, chess and reading.
