Liz Rein represents both business and individuals in a broad variety of litigation and transactional matters. Liz concentrates her practice in the following areas:
- Real estate law and litigation
- Construction law and litigation
- Civil litigation
Liz has represented clients in real matters involving commercial leasing, commercial mortgages, purchase agreements, easements, condemnation, special assessment appeals, and property tax appeals. In the area of construction law, Liz has represented clients dealing with payment disputes, mechanic’s liens, construction defects, and bond claims.
Liz is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Minnesota and the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is an MSBA Real Property Law Specialist.
Liz completed her undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College, graduating magna cum laude and with department distinction with a degree in Psychology. She obtained her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Following law school, Liz clerked for The Honorable David Minge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She joined Hammargren & Meyer, P.A. in 2012.
