Elizabeth is a native of Muskegon, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a minor in Political Science.
Elizabeth attended the University of Wisconsin Law School and received her Juris Doctor in 2011. She was a member of the Moot Court Board, first as a competitor, then as a team coach and Executive Board officer.
As a law student, Elizabeth interned with the Civil Litigation Division of the Wisconsin Department of Justice and with Judge John Albert at the Dane County Circuit Court. She also worked as a law clerk for the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Office of Administrative Legal Services.
