Benjamin Redleaf is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Benjamin settled in Dallas, Texas after he became engaged to his wife Amy, whom he had met while attending Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Emory University with a BA in History with a concentration on American Civil War history. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he attended Washington & Lee Unviersity School of Law for one year, before transferring to SMU Dedman School of Law here in Dallas. Benjamin graduated and received his law degree with honors from SMU in 2012. During law school, he clerked for Judge Robert Price of the Dallas County Probate Court. He also clerked in the General Counsel’s Office of Belo Corp. While attending law school, Benjamin worked as a student attorney in SMU’s Civil Clinic where he became a section chief.
Since receiving his law license in November 2012, Benjamin has served clients from around the North Texas area. Having worked on a variety of issues, Benjamin brings an understanding of the client’s needs to his work. His primary areas of practice include commercial litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and injured worker litigation. Benjamin is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association of Young Lawyers.
When he is not working, Benjamin enjoys traveling, tennis, running, and spending time with his family.
