Liz is experienced in the areas of Real Estate Law, Land Use Law, Water Law and Business Law. She is a director and shareholder in the firm. Her practice style integrates “knowledge,” “professionalism ” and “creative problem solving.”
Prior to joining Hurley Re Attorneys at Law in 2000, she was a lawyer for Minor & Bandonis, Connell & Fetsch in Newport, Oregon. She became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 1996 and U.S. District Court in 1998. Liz received her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Lewis and Clark College.
Liz's professional memberships include Oregon Women's Lawyers Association, Oregon Water Resources Congress and the Deschutes County Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO), the Bend Chamber of Commerce (Transportation Committee), and City Club of Central Oregon. She has been a guest lecturer for the Oregon Water Resource Congress and the American Planning Association.
As a volunteer, Liz belongs to the Central Oregon Humane Society and she has also offered her time to Future Farmers of America, Girl Scouts, American Cancer Society, Altrusa and the American Heart Association.
Liz spends her free time planning and working in her yard. She maintains an organic garden and she also enjoys camping and fishing.
