Shakeb Razai is the managing partner at Razai & Nefulda, APC. Mr. Razai and his family have been Orange County residents since the early 1980s.  Mr. Razai graduated from the University of California, Irvine, (Cum Laude) with a dual major in Cognitive Sciences and Criminology, Law & Society and later graduated from Chapman University School of Law on a Dean’s Academic Scholarship. After his admission to the California State Bar, he has exclusively practiced in the area of family law.

Mr. Razai previously worked for a short time with a local City Attorney’s office while in law school, the Internal Revenue Service (legal department), and a small family law firm in Orange County prior to eventually forming Razai & Nefulda, APC, after years of being a solo practioner.

While Mr. Razai’s practice embraces all areas of Family Law, he predominately handles complex and large asset litigation, and contentious child custody issues, valuation and characterization of assets and works with many self-employed litigants dealing with support and cash flow issues. Mr. Razai works closely with many experts while representing his clients, including forensic accounts, business valuators, child custody evaluators, real estate appraisers and other experts as may be needed on a case-by-case basis. Mr. Razai has also served as a consultant to other family law firms that have needed his expertise on complex issues.

Mr. Razai is also a license real estate broker.
