Karla P. Ray received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and her J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School in 1991. During law school, she served as a Member and then as the Managing Editor of the Marquette Law Review.
Ms. Ray is a member of the firm and has twenty (20) years of experience practicing in the areas of real estate and franchise law. She has represented various regional and national lending institutions, entities, private developers and individuals in both residential and commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, finance transactions and condominium projects. Ms. Ray also has extensive experience representing a variety of national franchise lenders (including general equipment lenders, restaurant lenders, and gas station/convenience store lenders) and has counseled both start-up and established franchisees on the legal aspects of the franchise development and operation process including the review of franchise disclosure documents, the preparation and negotiation of real estate and construction documents, and the closing of loan facilities.
Ms. Ray is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations. She participates in volunteer community projects through her affiliation with the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County and is a Community Advisory Board Member for the Junior League of Greenwich
