Jeanne Gellman is a senior associate in the Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2008.
Past Experience
During law school, Ms. Gellman was a legal aide for the New York State Office of the Attorney General. She contributed to matters relating to consumer fraud in the music industry involving PAYOLA, the paying of cash or gifts in exchange for airplay.
Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Gellman worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as a manager in their Global Communications Advisory Services practice, where she ran an online daily news and information service about the telecom industry and identified and developed opportunities for PWC’s telecom regulatory practice.
Before joining PWC, Ms. Gellman served as the Latin American and European Regional Specialists for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where she advised the FCC Chairman and Commissioners during negotiations with the Inter-American Telecommunications Commission (CITEL), several European countries, the European Union and the International Telecommunications Union. She also developed US policy on Latin American and European regulatory issues in cooperation with private industry and other government agencies including the Departments of State and Commerce.
