Shahzia Rahman is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2006. Ms. Rahman is a member of the firm's Diversity Committee for the Boston office.
Practice
Ms. Rahman represents a number of public and private company clients on an on-going basis. Her practice includes advising public company clients on matters such as corporate governance, executive compensation and securities law compliance and assisting private company clients with corporate organization matters and venture capital financings.
Her clients include AVEO Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Vistaprint N.V., NxStage Medical, Inc., PC Connection, Inc. and Roxbury Youthworks, Inc.
In addition, Ms. Rahman has represented both buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings and issuers and investors in equity/debt offerings. She focuses her practice on cross-border transactions and is a member of the firm’s International Transactions Group.

Professional Activities
Ms. Rahman served as a member of the Board of Directors of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston and co-chaired their Mentorship Committee from 2006 to 2010.
While in law school, Ms. Rahman served as a corporate trainee with Bin Shabib & Associates in Dubai. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rahman was an admission officer at Brown University and volunteered as an investigative intern with the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights.
