Rajtar, Steven A.

With a background rich in education and counseling, Jennifer received her Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology from University of Arizona in 2000. After college, Jennifer worked as a counselor to women and at-risk children and teenagers.  She also was employed as a technical writer where she wrote court-mandated evaluations of the incarcerated patients at the Arizona State Hospital. 

Jennifer received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law and was admitted to the Arizona State Bar and United States District Court, District of Arizona in 2005.
 
Jennifer started her legal career working in the area of criminal defense.  She represented the criminally accused in complex narcotics cases, government wire-taps, DUIs, and homicide in Arizona’s state, federal, and appellate courts.   After five years of preserving her clients’ and the citizens of Arizona’s constitutional rights, she switched her legal focus to the area of civil litigation.  Jennifer has gained experience in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, and personal injury.

Most recently, Jennifer was employed as the Senior Staff Attorney at the Maricopa Superior Court.  There, she provided research, advice, and drafted minute entries for the judiciary.  Returning to her education background, Jennifer conducted CLE and COJET classes for attorneys and judges in the areas of criminal law, procedure, and post-conviction relief.
 
Jennifer is thrilled to now work as a family law attorney at DeShon Pullen & Associates, PLC.  Her background along with her years of legal experience makes her an excellent addition to the Firm.  Jennifer’s dedication to her clients and genuine concern for their best interests is clearly exhibited in her daily interactions with her clients and work product.
