After serving in the USMC for five years, Dan earned his Law Degree and Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. he then worked with a small team of attorneys suing the government of Iran for committing terrorist acts against U.S. Citizens in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2007, the Plaintiffs in this case won a $2.5 Billion judgement against Iran. Dan continues to work on this case and represent many of the plaintiffs in attempting to collect their Judgment against Iran.
Mr. Gaskill started his own law practice in Rockville, MD in 2002. He has created a firm that is concerned with the client's overall well being. A client charged with a crime or facing a difficult domestic situation needs a firm that will assist in dealing with the client's emotional stress as well as the legal issues involved.
When a juvenile is accused of a crime, the firm considers the overall needs of the child, not just the crime. An innocent child should not be bullied into a plea deal. If a child has committed a crime, its rights will be protected in a manner designed to minimize the consequences to its future. Alternatives to confinement and the need for rehabilitative and or counseling services will be examined.
