NICHOLAS J. GARLISCH is an associate in the Chicago matrimonial law firm of Yavitz & Levey, LLP. Mr. Garlisch graduated with Honors from Drake University in 2009 and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011. After graduating from law school, Mr. Garlisch passed both the Illinois and Iowa bar exams and worked as a law clerk and associate at Crilley Law Office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he focused primarily on family law. Mr. Garlisch has been trained as a Mediator through an Association for Conflict Resolution nationally approved program. Before graduating from law school, Mr. Garlisch worked as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Illinois Pollution Control Board, the Chicago Legal Clinic, and a Judge of the Third District of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
