Mr. Degn is a California native who has practiced law since 2001. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University with a major in Near Eastern Studies and a minor in Arabic. He attended law school at the University of California, Hastings College of Law where he was on the Trial Team and earned his law degree with a concentration in Civil Litigation.

Mr. Degn is a member of the California Bar Association and the Tulare – Kings Counties Estate Planning Council, a board member for the Tulare County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the Eastern District Court of California.

Before joining the law offices of Gubler, Koch, Degn & Gomez LLP, Mr. Degn was a trial deputy for the Tulare County District Attorney’s office, where he prosecuted narcotics offenders. He has also practiced civilly in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation.

Previous to practicing law, Mr. Degn was a linguist and interrogator for the United States Army, speaking both Arabic and Spanish.
