Quirk, Kevin D.

Gigi Park is an associate with Batch Poore & Williams, primarily practicing immigration, criminal, and family law. Fluent in Spanish, she views her profession as a calling to advocate for those facing injustice.

Prior to joining Batch Poore & Williams, Gigi practiced criminal defense and immigration law with Nunley & Associates in downtown Raleigh. She has defended the accused in charges of fraud, embezzlement, theft, driving while impaired, domestic violence, drug offenses, traffic violations and various other misdemeanors and felonies in District and Superior Court in Wake County. She also spearheaded the firm’s immigration practice, which included ICE detention and bond hearings, removal defense, family-based residency petitions, naturalization applications, adjustment of status, and VAWA petitions.

Gigi earned her Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, concentrating in advocacy. During law school, she investigated claims of wrongful conviction for the Campbell Law Innocence Project, serving as a case manager her second year and president her final year. She was a writer and content editor for the Campbell Law Observer, and actively participated in Women in Law and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Her law school accolades include the Pro Bono Publico Award, the Book Award in Eighth Amendment Death Penalty Litigation, and the NC State Bar Pro Bono Service Award.

A native of Clayton, North Carolina, Gigi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a minor in Spanish. She has lived and worked in Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Hawaii, enriching her understanding and appreciation of all cultures across the globe.

In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, cheering on her Tar Heels, seeing live music, and having fun with her husband, family, and friends.
