Dawn S. DeWeil has been in practice for 24 years, has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Craig M. Rothenberg, she ran a solo practice with offices in New York and New Jersey. Before starting her own practice, she was a managing attorney of a litigation unit at the prestigious New York firm of Schneider, Kleinick, Weitz, Damashek and Shoot.
She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. Dawn has lectured as invited faculty for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. She has lectured nationally with respect to Breast Implant litigation and has lectured physician groups with respect to medical malpractice issues. She has made appearances on Court TV as both a guest commentator and Arthur Miller panelist.
Dawn serves on the Boards of Directors of two not-for-profit agencies, the Association for Metro-area Autistic Children (AMAC) in New York and Community Action for Independent Living (CAIL) in New Jersey. Both agencies serve the developmentally disabled.
