Barbara Dean has practiced with Dean Gibson Hofer & Nance, PLLC since 1993. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, she was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 1973, and has lived in Charlotte since then.
Prior to working with Dean Gibson Hofer & Nance, PLLC, Barbara first worked as an assistant district attorney and later practiced in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and creditor representation in bankruptcy cases.
Her current practice at Dean Gibson Hofer & Nance, PLLC is civil litigation, primarily in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, legal malpractice defense, and motion and appellate practice.
