Lauren M. DeLong earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in English Literature through the Honors Scholars Program at the University of Cincinnati, cum laude, in 2003. During her undergraduate career, she interned at the Public Defender's Office in Montgomery County, Maryland through The Washington Center Program.
Ms. DeLong went on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2006. There, she was involved with the Urban Morgan Institute and acted as an Articles Editor of their internationally-known publication, The Human Rights Quarterly. She also participated in a year-long fellowship with the Ohio Innocence Project through the Rosenthal Institute for Justice.
In November of 2006, Ms. DeLong was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio; she has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Ms. DeLong volunteers as a high school mock trial advisor through the Cincinnati Bar Association.
As an associate at the firm's Cincinnati office, Ms. DeLong has concentrated her practice in the areas of pharmaceutical and general products liability, personal injury, and medical malpractice. She has worked on pharmaceutical litigations including Ortho Evra, Ephedra, and Vioxx, and has been most active in the Multidistrict Litigation involving the procurement of Human Tissue used in bone and tissue allografts.
