Purpura, Michael M.

Rebecca C. Day grew up by the Jersey Shore in Forked River, New Jersey. After graduating at the top of her class at Lacey Township High School, Rebecca attended Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Throughout college, Rebecca spent her summers working as a law clerk for a solo practitioner who specialized in family and real estate matters. Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Villanova with a bachelor’s degree in political science and honors.

Rebecca attended law school at Temple University. While there, Rebecca was a staff member of the Temple Law Review and was involved in Temple’s Federal Judicial Clerkship program clerking for the Honorable Diane W. Sigmund, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. During law school, Rebecca also worked as a law clerk for the insurance practice group of a large law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rebecca received the Smith & Leibel Family Law Award for her paper entitled "Race, Family, and Transracial Adoption." Rebecca graduated from Temple, with honors, in 2007.

After graduating from law school, Rebecca served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary Catherine Cuff, a Presiding Judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey - Appellate Division. Directly following her clerkship in the fall of 2008, Rebecca joined Ulrichsen Rosen & Freed. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. While Rebecca's practice encompasses all areas of family law, she has a special interest in adoption law.

Rebecca Day resides in Mercer County, New Jersey. When she is not working, her family and friends keep her busy. She also volunteers as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County
