Tom was the Senior Trial Assistant District Attorney for Westchester County from 1973 to 1983. He was Senior Trial Attorney for Continental Insurance Company as Staff Council from 1986 to 1999.
He was also a partner with the law firm Moran & Pronti from 1983 to 1999, handling defense and plaintiff litigation in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Tom joined the firm in 1999 and has handled a number of significant cases gaining settlements of $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 for his clients.
Tom attended the University of Maryland where he received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1969. He later attended the University of Toledo Law School and received his J.D. in 1972. Tom was admitted to the New York Bar in 1973 and the Northern District Court of New York.
He is a member of the Saratoga Bar Association, Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and Trial lawyers of America.
Tom is an avid fisherman and golfer.

988K Settlement before Trial-was negotiated for a 40 yr old Jefferson County woman who sustained extensive internal injuries and was in a coma for several weeks when the vehicle she occupied lost control leaving the road striking a tree.
800K Settlement at Mediation-which resolves the claim of a 40 yr old Herkimer County man who while on the job sustained multiple facial fractures with surgery and permanent scarring when a heating unit broke away from the wall and struck his ladder violently throwing him to the ground.
4.2M Verdict-man was killed when he was overcome by deadly silo gas while he was working as a farm employee. Jury found the owner of the farm, who leases premises to plaintiffs employer, was 75% responsible for not properly ventilating the silo, jury found plaintiffs employer 25% responsible for not providing plaintiff with a safe place to work, verdict was 3M for pain & suffering & 1.2M for economic loss. This was Columbia County Supreme Ct.
1.280M Verdict-Albany Supreme Court-In a car accident where plaintiff was hit in rear and had cervical lumbar fusion as a result of accident. Verdict was all for pain & suffering.
