As an Associate at Carlin & Buchsbaum, LLP, Anna De La Torre specializes in representing employees in wrongful termination cases that involve race discrimination, gender discrimination, disability discrimination, age discrimination, sexual harassment, unpaid overtime and whistleblowing. In addition, she represents employees in worker's compensation cases. Prior to joining the team at Carlin & Buchsbaum, LLP, she gained valuable experience and skills representing employers on the defense side and the insight she gained has helped her in her representation of employees. Ana is bilingual; she speaks, reads, and writes in Spanish.
Ana grew up in Burbank, California. She attended UCLA and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. While a college student at UCLA, she served as President of the University Cooperative Housing Association, an organization dedicated to providing housing for low income students. In addition, she spent a semester as an intern for Senator Dianne Feinstein in Washington D.C. Afterwards, Ana attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and obtained a Juris Doctor degree. During the time she was a law student, Ana served as President of the La Raza Law Students Association.
