Ty Gaither is a graduate of the University of Missouri School Of Law in Columbia, Missouri. In addition he holds a Master of Science Degree in Pathology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Botany, providing a specialized knowledge in the field of Criminal Forensic Science. Mr. Gaither has practiced exclusively in the field of Criminal Law for more than twenty five years. After Law school, he served for three years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Jackson County, Kansas City Missouri and as Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Office of the Cole County Prosecuting Attorney in Jefferson City, Missouri. Following these experiences, he was employed as Chief Counsel to set up the Office of the Greene County Public Defender, in Springfield Missouri.
Since entering private practice, Mr. Gaither has successfully handled, from his offices in Springfield and Joplin Missouri, hundreds of federal, state and municipal felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. The majority of his practice during that time has been focused on drug, alcohol, and controlled substance related cases, though his experience includes jury trials, in murder, robbery, rape, assault, burglary, stealing, and almost every other aspect of criminal defense.
