Emily Machiz Prager joined Rosenberg & Estis in 2012 as an associate in the firm’s litigation department.
Prior to joining R&E, Emily served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, working in the Domestic Violence Bureau. As an ADA, Emily individually managed all aspects of over 900 criminal prosecutions ranging from misdemeanor offenses to violent felonies, including conducting both jury and non-jury trials to verdict.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College, Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law. At St. John’s, Emily was a participant in the Prosecution Clinic and was a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute in which she was awarded Best Overall Advocate in the 2006 Quinnipiac University Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition.
