Kim Edward Presbrey has been a practicing attorney specializing in the trial of lawsuits for more than 35 years. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and Vanderbilt School of Law. He has tried over one thousand workers' compensation cases along with other cases in both state and federal court. His peers have chosen him as a Superlawyer and a Leading Lawyer in every year since the inception of the awards and he is the only attorney outside of the City of Chicago who has been so chosen in every year in the field of workers' compensation. Mr. Presbrey has also served as the President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers and on the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association. He was a Vice President and is presently on the Executive Board of the National Workplace Injured Litigation Group. He founded the Workers' Compensation committee of the Kane County Bar Association and he was voted as one of the Top 100 "Trial" Lawyers in America in 2010. Mr. Presbrey has given over a hundred seminars for attorneys, labor groups, medical providers, and business groups and continues to be a sought after lecturer in this field. In 2008 he was chosen by Lexis-Nexis to author the Illinois Workers' Compensation Book. He continues to update that book and lecture on the subject of workers' compensation.
