Andrew J. Pratt joined Eckberg Lammers in 2011 and is a member of the Banking and Finance Group. Andy focuses his practice on banking and commercial law, municipal law matters, public finance, and economic development transactions. Andy has several years of substantial transactional experience representing municipalities and lending institutions in complex financial transactions. He has developed a significant background in the area of public finance, assisting clients with the issuance of municipal bonds for public infrastructure projects and drafting contracts for tax increment financing (TIF) and economic development projects.
Andy was raised in Northfield, Minnesota and attended law school at the University of Minnesota. He served on the Minnesota Law Review while earning his juris doctor and graduating magna cum laude in 2004. Andy clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals for Judge G. Barry Anderson and Judge Christopher Dietzen. Andy worked as an associate attorney at law firms in Duluth and Minneapolis before joining Eckberg Lammers.
Andy lives in St. Paul with his wife Erin and two sons, Henry and Joseph. Andy is part of an international family, as Henry was adopted in 2006 from Guatemala and Joseph in 2011 from China. In his free time, Andy is an avid follower of the Minnesota Twins and enjoys sitting in the cheap seats at Target Field.
