Prall, Gena Larison

Julie is an experienced and personable investigator, crisis manager and litigator who has managed and resolved many complex, sensitive matters for Boards of Directors, General Counsel and senior executives in corporations and nonprofit organizations across the country. She was a highly successful senior labor and employment partner and trial lawyer for many Fortune 500 clients, and in 2003 became the General Counsel of a Fortune 1,000 public company with multiple retail brands. In these high performance roles she investigated and managed responses to crisis situations and alleged serious wrongdoing, and provided critical problem-solving and communications solutions in addition to creative litigation management and prevention. As General Counsel, she successfully managed a high-profile data theft situation with a customer-based communications approach and novel legal approaches, and many other strategic enterprise projects.

Julie's in-house experience, coupled with her many years of experience as an officer on national, state and local nonprofit Boards of Directors, gives her a deep understanding of the legal, practical and organizational issues, dynamics and needs each situation presents. In her career she has been a champion for ethics, integrity, and compliance with established values, and is a passionate and excellent trainer, speaker and writer in these areas.

In addition to experience in investigations, crisis management, senior executive matters and General Counsel projects and challenges, Julie will also continue to provide labor and employment counseling, policy design, trainings, executive agreement drafting and negotiation, and complaint/litigation defense.

Adept in high-pressure and emergency situations at prioritizing critical process, decisions, actions and communications while developing timely, highly effective and creative project and investigation scope, responses and legal defenses.

General Counsel Counseling and Support

From sounding board counseling for General Counsel looking for assistance in their decision-making to handling overflow or other projects requiring or benefiting from GC experience. This includes strategy or project development or review; ethics, integrity and values programs and communications; litigation oversight or review; drafting documents, text or social media content; and, training or other materials needed by the GC.
